Light Conditions:

• Partial Shade:
  Anthurium jenmanii can grow well with 1.

   

  to 4 hours of sunlight per day, primarily with indirect sunlight, such as under the protection of trees.

• Full Shade:
  Anthurium jenmanii can grow well with less than 2 hours of sunlight per day.
• Anthurium jenmanii can be grown indoors as a houseplant.
• Too much sun causes yellowing and scorching of the leaves.

Soil:

• Very well-drained soil that is poor, average or rich in nutrients. Friable or loose soil is preferred if soil is the medium of choice to easily penetrate the soil and grow better.
• This anthurium also naturally grow as an epiphyte on the branches of trees, so rotten tree bark is a great medium of choice.
• This anthurium also naturally grows as a lithophyte on stone.
• The plant has been reported to grow from sea-level up to 500 metres in rainforests and dry woodlands, on the ground, on tree branches and on rocks.

Watering Frequency:

• Water the medium primarily when the medium is dry or almost dry.
• Watering should be such that the medium is kept moist and fairly cool.

Pruning:

• Prune (deadhead) leaves when they appear to turn yellow, brown or transparent.
