Gynura, Purple Passion

Light Conditions:

• Partial Shade:
  Purple Passion can also grow with 3 to 6 hours of sunlight per day, primarily morning sun, with slight shade.
• Indoors:
  Purple Passion can be grown indoors with bright, indirect light or placed near a sunny window.

Soil:

• Well-drained but moisture-retentive soil that is average or rich in nutrients. Mixing regular potting soil with added organic matter, such as compost, can provide the right balance.
• Mulch (such as grass clippings and wood chips) can be added to the surface of the soil to retain moisture and keep down weeds.

Watering Frequency:

• Water the soil primarily when the soil is almost dry or dry. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again.
• Watering Okinawan Spinach should be that the soil is kept moist but not waterlogged.
