In our climate, vicks plant may grow well with 3 to 6 hours of sunlight per day, primarily morning sun.

Suitably grown under the shade of trees. Too much sunlight tends to make the colour of the leaves turn yellow, which is not advised.

Soil:

Well-drained soil that is rich (fertile) in nutients.

Mulch (such as grass clippings and wood chips) can be added to the surface of the soil to retain moisture and keep down weeds.

Watering Frequency:

Water the soil primarily when the soil is dry.
