Light Conditions:

• Full Sun:
  Place mojito mint in a location that receives 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day.
• Partial Shade:
  Mojito mint can grow with 4 to 6 hours of sunlight per day.
• Plants that receive afternoon shade, spread near the ground, while plants that receive afternoon sun are more erect.

Soil:

• Moist, well-drained soil that is (fertile) rich in nutrients.
• Mulch (such as grass clippings and wood chips) can be added to the surface of the soil to retain moisture and keep down weeds.

Watering Frequency:

• Water the soil primarily when the soil is almost dry or dry.
• Keep the soil moist but not soggy.
• Mojito mint does not like when the soil is dry as leaves tend to yellow from the bottom so be sure to check on its watering needs especially in the dry season.

Pruning and Maintenance:

• Prune (deadhead) stems or leaves when they appear to wilt, look diseased, or turn yellow or brown.
• Pruning can aid in stimulating new growth and keep the mint bushy. Harvested cuttings could be replanted or used in various ways.
